Brad Bird gives insight into what drives innovation at Pixar. He speaks about past projects, team morale, and taking frustrated team members and molding them into a cohesive unit. He also discourages creatives from making products for groups of people if the creator is not included in that group that it’s being made for. Bird also mentioned that while at Pixar, Steve Jobs created a floor model that included a bathroom in the middle of the atrium. Something as small as the location of a bathroom in the center of the building, ensured that interaction among workers would take place.
