Each year, DC Social Innovation Project supports the launch, development, or expansion of four promising early-stage non-profits. These non-profits may be in the idea, pilot, or expansion phase. DCSIP looks to support non-profits with innovative programs that go beyond the typical neighborhood gardens, after-school programs, and health fairs; DCSIP wants to see how those types of programs can be enhanced or altered in order to have a disruptive effect on the issues they seek to address. The goal is to help community members and early-stage organizations secure the resources to implement innovative programs that have the power to transform our community.
