AJ Jacobs: The Importance of Self-Delusion in the Creative Process

AJ Jacobs, editor at large at Esquire magazine and author of four New York Times bestsellers spent a year trying to live exactly by all the rules given in The Bible. What he realized is that in business, personal and creative endeavors, your actions have to change before your thoughts will change. Most of us consider the opposite to be the appropriate approach. As the old Jewish adage states: “Deed before creed”. In this extremely hilarious video, Jacobs encourages people to act like the person that they want to be and their thoughts will change as well.

  1. Howdy would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a difficult time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for
something completely unique. P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
